  • “First United Methodist Preschool holds such a dear space in my heart. My eldest started there at four years old. It was her first time experiencing any sort of care outside of family, and I worried about her transitioning to a new place, routine, and people. The teachers were absolutely wonderful in helping her transition and working together with me to come up with a plan that would benefit her specific needs. We loved FUMP so much that she stayed for the Transitional Kindergarten program when it was available. Fast forward and my youngest started in the 2s class. He had just turned two and it was so hard, despite knowing he would love it. His teachers worked tirelessly to get him and the other littlest friends who were having trouble at drop off to a place of comfort and security at school. He now tells me everyday at pickup how much he likes school and how it makes him happy to play with his friends and teachers. The actual preschool space is inviting, cozy, and fun.
